If someone sees a product on my site, then types the product name in google

the product owner and site appears number one, if someone buys through the main page-will I still get commision?

    I written a long post about this recently.. Always use a generic name when selling others stuff and especially if it is resell rights products.

    If your visitor has clicked on your affiliate link, then YES.. you should get the commissions...

    If they simply looked at your site and didn't transfer over to the product page via your affiliate link, you will not get the commissions

    That "someone" needs to click through your aff. link first, only that way you will earn commisions..If they just see product on your page, and then go away from your page without clicking through, you will not earn commisions..

    That depends. Many brands have sophisticated "cookie clearing" scripts and algorithms that kick in when users link to them from search engines or directly type the site name, brand name, or one of their product names domains that they own into the address bar...amongst other things.

    Obviously, they don't advertise this fact.

    If you rank above the vendor for a keyword. (You are number 1, and vendor are 2) you have 2 chances as long as the visitors click your link.

    When the person visits your site and click your link, hit the back button twize and go to spot 2 (the vendor) you still get paid. The second time the visitors sees the product, he must feel that it has some value.
