YouTube Marketing Frustration - Warrior Advice / Service Needed

Hi warriors,...right basically this past week my head has been absolutely spinning trying to rank a video on one of my niche youtube accounts...and I really hoped to get this done by the end of the week at the least!...but looks like it will be annoying me at the back of my head during the weekend lol...

Ok basically what the problem seems to me no matter what I try...white hat / black hat SEO techniques..nothing seems to bring it up the search engine WITHIN Youtube (not google) for the keywords I wish to rank for...

I have also backlinked the actual youtube url video link on some sites (but presumably I don't think this will help in ranking within the youtube search itself besides google?...please correct me if am wrong) ...needless to say I did not see a major improvement in google natural video results either..

Now versus the number one video (my competitor) for that keyword am trying to take out....I have

And I'll admit to do this some black hat techniques aswell as white hat techniques were used.... - the only thing I feel I lack is the actual age of the video..versus the established one...but does this matter?!

I am totally puzzled...and the actual competitor's title is not as keyword rich nor anything 'amazing'...and I certainly believe the video am trying to take out is as 'clued up' about how to rank a youtube video...yet ironically taking me out!

So where am I going wrong!

Any advice would be much appreciated guys, or perhaps recommended tools/services...however having said that...a service of '10k youtube hits' won't really work in my opinion as this is already got more hits..unless ofcourse a warrior has their own 'magic secret sauce' recipe hehe

wow.thanks for the quick reply man much appreciated!

Embarrassingly and being totally honest...am slightly scared of giving out the full video details of the video... as this specific video is in a niche / attached to a youtube account that does pretty well for my CPA marketing income stream...and if you know CPA marketing, you'd know how easy it can quickly become to duplicate it all...by more or less just spinning the video and whacking on your own CPA link....NOT ofcourse to try to say all warriors are going to grab what am doing and copy!...but understandably...for a youtube video link that will expose all my CPA Marketing promotion links...i'd be abit vary openly showing it on an open forum

HOWEVER....I have the same scenario which 'more or less' for a business opportunity/company I am apart of when trying to rank important relevant keywords.... the same applys and in terms of what recently I have done to try and get up the youtube rankings ...

** URL **- for the keywords / title of this video am not doing great versus other videos..yet I once again have more comments, ratings, views...

That is an awesome resource Marc ...interesting too..does make you wonder if they are ranked higher...however they are most definitely not a youtube partner...their subscriber base would have to be much higher..MUCH higher i'd recon...but as a side not...it is higher than mine...so I wonder if that comes into play?

Am presuming this is the youtube advertising program?....so are you saying (and other warriors thoughts on this one would be interesting) that youtube will favour its paid / promoted videos in the ntural search results?...

I am in the UK...and as far as I know that service is only available in the US for now...?

Are you using keyword loaded titles, descriptions and tags? And does your competitor have strong wording in their video?

Also, the youtube partner program does rock. I'm sure they'll change it sooner or later, but for now it's cool! You just pay for views out of your Adwords Account.

Yes I most definitely am dude...relevant title...keyword rich description (without spamming)...and also relevant tags...wivout stuffing them with random spam... , and interesting info regarding the youtube ad program pretty cool they take it out via adwords...interesting..

You probably have to make a better video.

That could mean being more interesting, creative, controversial, and usually funny in some way. If you make a video good enough to be passed around (viral) you won't have to be checking for any of the stats that have failed you on your last video.

I doubt its due to the video not being interesting, it certainly right up there in terms of quality and message for keywords...

and yes..true...maybe BlueFart methods have had a negative effect...still very confusing tho lol

How old is the video you are competing with and is it still get a good number of views everyday?

I know how frustrated you must feel, I'm going through the same thing now, and the only conclusion is that the video is 2 years older and still gets a decent number of views everyday.

my video is around 3 weeks old and competing vs 2 month old video...maybe longer...perhaps this is the issue indeed!

What methods have you tried?

I've been using the Youtube partnership program for a month now. I hadn't had any problems ranking until the last couple of days. The big guns (commercial) have moved in and I think they put their bid rate quite a bit higher than mine. I will probably have to pull it soon. It should get better after the holidays. They are also getting in gear...

and they do not have outgoing links to other
videos.

Is this a paid version?

When you embed a youtube video on your website / blog, you can deselect the "show related videos" option.

Post a project on GAF or any other freelancer site For getting service. You will get lots of option there. There are many people who can do this.

my suggestion: are you trying to over optimize the video? Try to make different instances of the same video and use simple related keywords.. rather than combining unrelated keywords... i assume using too much keywords in your video might be scanned as spam and/or irrelevant in youTube engine..

its understanding the the yutube search algorithm is the issue
