7 Days Article Marketing Blueprint That Helps You Cope With Life After Submission

Hi fellow warriors,

The article blueprint shown below is my process of going through after many trial and error. This had become my blueprint and is what I do day in day out. It works for me and hopefully it will work for you too.

For most newbie article marketer, I understand your life after submission of articles. In fact, I've been in your shoes before. Therefore, to make your life much easier doing article marketing, I'm going to share with you how you can continue doing after submission of your first batch of article.


So here we go

Day 1 - Research is always Fun

All right, 2 things to do - Keyword and Product Research.
From this point, don't bother about your previous campaign. Just go ahead and find new niche or product to promote. If you want to stick to your present campaign, find another angle (niche) to promote.
- For keyword research, you may want to go for long tail to get low hanging fruits traffic
- For product research, go for brand name and modifier.
Things to note: Don't over analyze. It will do more harm than good.

Day 2 - Time for design and elbow grease

Now that you have your keywords done. Go write 10 articles that contain your long tail keywords. You have to mix your long tail and common keyword in your article. This is to allow maximum exposure in serps.
Next, buy a domain, set up a mini-site blog using free relevant picture to do up your header. Don't use pink color to promote an energy saving niche.
Things to note: Just write your articles for your customer and you will do just fine.

Day 3 - Are you Social Yet?

With your articles written, now is time to post them onto your blog. After you had done posting, submit all URLs to popular social bookmarking site. Now take your 10 articles and spin it using any article writer spinner that you had bought or find online. Spin 6 set per article. So right now, you will have 60 articles (including those posted on your site)
Things to note: Take heart into spinning your article. The more unique you make it, the better it will perform for you. But don't spend too much time on it.

Day 4 - Rampage

Take those 50 articles, submit them to the following directories,
GoArticles
SearchWarp
Amazines
EasyArticles
Free Traffic System
Things to note: You only have to submit 10 different keywords articles per each directories. Can you see here? You will have create at least 10 articles per directories and that going to build you backlinks.

Day 5 - Linkwheel - Web 2.0

Now, there are a lot of version of linkwheel patterns going around. Some choosing for close-loop, some open-loop while some choosing to interlink with each web 2.0 properties. What I can advise you is, start small, taking 5 or 6 web 2.0 properties and only place 2 outbound link. One to your merchant, one to your money site. Got it?
Ok, now what we are going to do here is to take our remaining 10 articles and submit them all to the web 2.0 properties. This will take you quite a time to do it. So hang in there. The properties that I used are,
Squidoo
Hubpages
Zimbio
Quizilla
Wordpress
Things to note: I know some are no-follow links. But that is ok. If you write quality content, there will bound to be followers. This is especially true for hubpages.

Day 6 - Comments Comments and more Comments

Now that the hardest part is over, the next thing we want to do is comment. Commenting on other people blog, you have to simply just find relevant blogs to comment on. And placing some free ads on some directories that you can find.
Things to note: Don't spam on other people blog.

Day 7 - Status Check

Check your site status. I like using Google Analytic. See what going for you and see what is against you.
Don't be afraid to change things here. But change one thing at a time.
Things to note: Don't get panic if your site had not been rank to top 10 within first week. Just keep on doing and you will.

This pretty sum up the daily routine I've been using. If you find more keywords than you can simply start from day 2 (minus the web design) to step 6. Do it every week. I can be sure that after one month of doing this, you will get the hang of it and may squeeze everything into a 3 days or 4 days process.

I sincerely hope that the above will really help those article marketer who are finding hard to find a plan that works for them. This is what works for me for the past 1 year and really, if you still finding going circles, you need a system in place.

This is a pretty solid plan. Perhaps a little thin, but solid.

I especially like the fact that you did not preface the points with outrageous claims of $10,000 in 30 days, or writing 700 articles in 7 days, or #1 in Google out of 60 trillion, etc...

You are probably going to get a lot of people challenging you or saying that parts of this system are worthless or downright silly.

But if it works for you - more power!

That's what a lot of people don't get with article marketing. What works for them may not work for someone else, and vice-versa. So they go on the offensive and put down things without a bit of evidence or credibility.

So hold your head high and be proud that you are one of the few who have actually figured out a system that works for you.

Yes. I admit that the plan is rather thin and I rather not offend the community considering the fact that I did not contribute much to the forum. (something along the line like - letting the cat out of bag or people are making this to make a living kind of stuff)

Well, I'm not too sure if anybody will challenge me but as what you had said that - this works for me. And it works perfectly well and I'm building a business out of it.

Although I did multiple listing on first page of Google for my various clients in various industries, I really getting numb on such claims.

And, I guess those who follow along the above headline and still not earn a single dime, is better off thinking of something that work for their online venture.

However I read elsewhere that....

Squidoo - locking lenses right and left (especially on topics we tend to write about)
Hubpages - unless you have sufficient status is no follow
Zimbio - redirects
Wordpress - quick to delete

I use a strategy that is similar to rank well for local businesses I work for. It's awesome fun.

I don't bother spinning the articles. I like it still being readable (plus it would look bad on me if a business checked one of the blogs I made for them and it wasn't readable).

I'm not saying that spinning doesn't help, I'm just not sure that it helps enough, at least in my position.

I rewrite my articles once, to have one version on their website/blog, and then the other version spread around "the net".

What are your thoughts on article marketer?

Two points i'd like to pick up on:

1/ which software do you use to spin the articles?

2/ for the link wheel, when you say 2 links, one to your merchant, one to your money site. What do you mean merchant? Am I right in thinking that what you mean is linking the web 2.0 properties eg Squidoo links to Hubpages, links to Zimbio, etc etc. Then each of these links dorectly to the money page. So do you use a closed wheel?

@LilBlackDress -- Squidoo is not locking lenses left and right. One advice - Don't spam and there are many topics to write about (if you are doing affiliate marketing). As for hubpages, yes you need to be about 75 hub point to get do-follow. But I tell ya, the people there are really passionate in what they do, especially some home improvement and diy stuff. As for Zimbio, well, you just need to squeeze in your position in first page google that all. As for wordpress, content is important. Use wordpress as link juice provider.

@freudianslip27 -- Yeah. That is what I did for my local clients too. It won't be nice though for them to find out. My thoughts for article marketer, will be, just simply stick to a plan that works for you, forget those bing bing stuff till you finish your stuff of the day! And it is like a marathon, keep on going and I personally see 3 friends of mine who started out 1 year in article marketing and now are already seeing their fruits of labor.

2) No. I don't do a close loop. The linking structure goes like this
money site <- web 2.0 properties -> merchant page. By using this method, not only will you build up authority but will give you link juice as well. You will less likely to see as spam. And you no need to have one email account per keyword.

@actionplanbiz -- There is no best way to spin articles. What I did is just to keep it an uniqueness of around 30% - 40% and rewrite my article title. I rather to keep it simple and gear towards my readers as much as possible.

Please do not give me advice not to spam. Did you see my lenses? I made two top quality lenses on a very nice topic (not spam). A couple affiliate links to Amazon. I also worked to get them indexed. They were finally indexed during the time period when they were locked.
They were unlocked after an appeal but they never recovered in Google.
I put a lot of effort and thought into those lenses.

@lilblackdress Squidoo has definitely gotten stricter about topics. They just don't allow lenses on certain topics anymore, weight loss, get your ex back etc just don't fly anymore. Easy does it now. In your original question, you stated that you had "...read somewhere that Squidoo was locking lenses right and left..." The OP was giving general advice based off of your general statement. They didn't know the specifics of your circumstance, and the advice is still beneficial to the other viewers. No need to get defensive.

Additionally, Squidoo lenses, while somewhat easier to rank, have statistically low conversion rates in comparison to privately hosted html sites/blogs. I wouldn't give up yet--instead, link out to a blog or site that is based upon those Amazon products you were previously targeting in your lense.

I just hate giving up. It's a blessing and a curse.
