Rapid Action Profits System Issues

I just purchased and have attempted to install the RAP system on a number of sites - all hosted with either Hostgator or their sister co. SEO Hosting.

I've followed the instructions to a T, but keep coming up with an internal server error when attempting to run the install script.

Anyone have any idea as to what the problem may be? Is this script not compatible with Hostgator, by chance?

Thanks

Warren

RAP has a support community that is extremely active and can help you out. I recommend asking there to get a fast response.

BTW, on Hostgator, no file or folder should ever be CHMOD 777. If there is, this error is thrown back. All files and folders should be at least 755.

Thanks - will head over there now.

Sounds like I'm SOL with this script if HG won't permit the 777 permissions.

      Thanks again.

Not so fast! Sid's looking into this for me and assures me it's got nothing to do with HG as he's got several folks using them. Must have a work around for CHMOD issue....

Refreshing to see someone handle an issue so quickly.

Warren's problems are fixed. It seems he was trying to put up 5 RAP sites at the same time, and wasn't following the installation instructions.

In fact, I didn't find out about this thread until after Warren posted to my helpdesk, and his problem was resolved.

People need to understand that when a merchant offers support resources, you should take advantage of them.

I, and probably every other product creator probably pays more attention to their own helpdesk than they do the WF. Does that tell everyone something about how to get the best support possible from any merchant?

I'll give you a hint... it's not by posting here.

The Warrior Forum is a great place to find out about other people's experiences with a product, but if you truly want support - go to the source!
