Has anyone purchased Easy Video Player?

Hi,

There's a WSO up for an app called Easy Video Player. It looks great and it should definitely solve some challenges for me that Camtasia couldn't.

I'd like to know if anyone who's purchased it already is using HostGator as their web host.

I've been having trouble with the installation and HostGator claims it because they won't provide me with the permissioning that the app seems to require.

Sounds odd to me, so I'm hoping that another HostGator user who's installed EVP already can tell me that it installed fine so at least I can narrow down who to contact for support on this.

    Hi Rob,

    Here is a link to another thread regarding Easy Video Player and if you scroll down the page a couple of posts you will see that there are people using it with Host Gator and the problem they had with permissions. They tell you what to change to make it work.

    We will get back to you real quick with help and a solution.

    As for the hostgator issue, tbmuns is right, there are alot of people that have it working with Hostgator.

    The issue is in the installation process, it just throws up an error at the end but actually still installs ok, so you can simply go to the login page and login and proceed to use your product.

    The error issue is removed in the latest update due this week and only effected Hostgator users.
