Could any please recommend a good press release writing course?

I didn't take a course, but all of my PR clients so far have been pretty happy. My secret? I got on PRWeb and read their guidelines, then read a whole buttload of news releases, then practiced doing a few.

The "How to get started" section alone has 8 different instructional files. (I only knew of one when I started out.)

You can subscribe to feeds for whatever niches you like:
