Amazon S3 - Prevent Direct Download

Hi guys,

I have some audio and video files stored on my Amazon S3 account and was wondering if it's possible to prevent direct-download of the files.

The files are streamed in a protected members area and I want to prevent them from being downloaded.

Is this possible with S3?

    Yes its possible... if you integrate with the s3 api that Amazon provides.

    If you want to do it in your current solution you will need to develop it or hire a programmer to do it for you.

    We do this automatically for our publishers in our membership site and content delivery system and recently integrated a tagging system to make it easy for publishers to protect embedded media source urls from hotlinking...
