Hey guys,

I am looking at getting started as a reseller/affiliate/distributor of these and wonder if you can offer some advice/ideas on where I could market offline. I've found a couple of good suppliers and one has offered to supply some posters/flyers and even business cards (plus a nice affiliate arrangement for repeat sales) so I'm going to buy some stock and go to this massive Saturday market close to me in 2 or 3 weeks. I think I could make a killing there over Christmas if Michaels' experience is anything to go by. If the first event goes well I will quickly ramp things up and find other events to go to.

Can you think of any other ways I could quickly get up and running promoting these? I was thinking of handing out leaflets in local towns and maybe even door to door but I'm still waiting for a response from the supplier to check on any advertising restrictions before I do anything like this. I want to be very careful and start off the right way. Anyone else in the UK selling these at local events?

I've been doing well with the e-cig affiliate programs (and many others for nearly 10 years), but I also want to offer the e-cig free trials on my site. Can someone tell me a few places to sign up for the free trial CPA e-cigarette programs? PM is necessary.

Thanks

Thats funny that the OP mentioned this topic. I actually had a business idea for an "electronric hookah and bar" to expand upon this concept. Hookah bars are exploding in business and extremely right now and its only a matter time before someone comes up with this. Its way safer and better for the lungs yet still give you that nicotine buzz.

Who's up to promote my electric hookahs?

If you are looking to be an affiliate and need some resources join up here:

Electronic (e-cig) Cigarette Affiliate Center

The newsletter breaks down a few of the different affiliate programs over the first few issues... and gives you landing pages, articles, and wordpress themes on the topic. No strings - just something I've been doing to help my affiliates.

If you aren't looking to affiliate but what to try them I would recommend the joy510. Free Shipping, fair pricing, good support: Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! (sorry they don't have an affiliate program - wish they did). The default flavor is nasty so get some different flavors to try out

The catch with that one is that you have to "refill" it. It's a pain. The others like Luci and Blue give you cartridges that are pre-filled but you end up spending A LOT more money.

I've done very well promoting e-cigs, and helping others promote them. I've tried just about all of them, and I've been on the fence about starting my own distributorship. I've got enough "local" clients that I could open a store. I haven't because I'm positive that the FDA will do something against them - with pressure from the 'tax' side of things because they aren't taxed as high as normal cigs.

I use them, and don't smoke normal cigs anymore - I feel great. I'm sure they will get banned but don't think it will be next week -- and maybe not even next year. I know dozens of people who have quit using them - or cut down so far on 'real' cigs that their health is better. Vapor (with nicotine and glycerin/ol) is better than sucking on a campfire.

I started using them about 3 weeks ago and almost immediately went from 2 packs per day real cigarettes down to 3 real cigarettes a day. It's unbelievably easy with e-cigarettes. I tried the patch several times and ended up smoking while on the patch, thereby increasing my nicotine addiction.

But I agree ... the FDA is bound to step in sooner or later and the price, if still available, will triple. Shame really since so many people are quitting real cigarettes using them.
