Default Would you buy.. opinion

I just rewrote a script that I have sold off and on over the past year. My question is for an opinion of you. Would you buy this script based on looks if you were looking for something like this? http://darkms.com

The script is fully functional and all options work. I do have some tweaking to do, basically adding some more words to help people understand what its about. But over all its good to go. Changes of any kind, feature addons or whatever are greatly appreciated. Don't hold back. thanks!!

Eric.

edit: Forgot to mention it does come complete with a admin panel that lets you change just about every aspect of the site.

the site is not very good (you said don't hold back!)

You need a headline that completely explains the benefit to someone who comes to that page.

Then you need a subheading that talks about more benefits.

Then you need step by step instructions fo using the service or script or whatever it is - I couldn't tell from just a quick look and thats not good!

Yeah I know I need to add all the wording for people that would use that demo. Its a demo site for a script. The backend is what is important to make that site parse data and all that fun stuff. But what do you think of the look? Does it look clean? Professional? minus the lack of information thats there.

Eric.

At first glance I did not even know what the site was about. To tell you the truth it looked like a blog with a lot of piciures. I second adding a headline to detail the function of the site in some manner.

I think you would be better served with content instead of pictures. While they are flashy the do nothing to explain what your script does and how it will help me.

I see what you mean. This is an example of the frontend of the script. It looks good, nice design. Maybe change the way the pictures are arranged (they seem a little out of place right now, maybe unbalanced from the little text which is displayed) and possibly find a way to filter the animated gifs - they make it look cheap.

Apart from that, I like it. As it is a demo site, think you do need somekind of detailed information page on how to properly 'demo' the script's frontend and make it blatantly obvious where you can find that information from *any* page of the demo site.

Hope that helps.

I second what David said. To me it just looked like a blog and not a sales page. The images do nothing but to confuse the reader (me.) You definitely need more text and the text in your right hand side column needs to be way bigger, unless you want to hand out subscription glasses to your target market first.

The framework of your product is obviously in place. Now you just have to polish it all up.

Good luck
Monika

I can't figure out what the page is about. Is something hidden there?

I think people are confused about what this is. It's a demo for a script, not a salespage. Though, if you don't, you should have a sales page or a direct response website with a link to the demo.

...and change your op so you clearly state what this is.
