Funny, You really should laugh at this!! No-Promtion Affiliate Program!

Today I got an invitation from an advertiser on one of my affiliate networks, he invited me to promote his product for a $7 commission per sale.

After all the fluff, he posted his restrictions on the promotion , (read carefully):

Publisher Program Restrictions:
  • No emails
  • No search engine keyword bidding
  • No search optimization
  • No cross-sale opportunities
  • No user incentives
  • No Co-registration
  • No give-away programs

I think with these restrictions, he will get a big breakthrough very soon

Anyone can tell me how on earth he expects me to promote his offer?

Possibly door to door sales. OR be more inventive and pay a striper gram to have your affiliate link tattooed somewhere people will pay attention. lol

It seems they are trying to avoid PPC and spam but were kind of over agressive

You could use Twitter and Facebook but they actually rule out articles and blogs because of the no SEO rule! (you would be allowed to write about it and it go out to RSS providing it does not appear in search engines and you don't have RSS email subscriptions, heh)

I can safely say they don't know what they are talking about..

They kinda of saying"well, plz go and promote our program, make us money, but don't do any good marketing that may outperform ours, so we get the chance to reserve your commission every time it's possible"...

      Well, this is idiot

    Well it's obvious isn't it?

Anyone can tell that you can easily and painlessly promote via fax and morse code.

That is funny though, I mean not only do you have to get creative to sell the product but you get a whopping $7 compensation for the privilege. More than makes up for it in my opinion.

You can still achieve outstanding results by promoting by semaphore.

Hire a blimp to fly over the products targeted areas, or better still hire a aeroplane and write the web address with pink smoke in the sky

I guess this product owner wants you to use other marketing ideas, and my ideas follow the Go big or go home motto

Talk about being your own worst enemy. With a plan like his, he should start posting his resume on monster as a back up plan...like immediately!:p

OK, have you ever been on the internet and you see a new aff program, yes one that promises a dollar per lead and $20 min pay out. Well, when you reach 20 leads you call the owner. He says - you see I was having to mail out too many checks, so I change the min pay to $200, and that's not all I change the price per lead to a nickel each, so you only have a dollar so far, you need $199 more for me to cut you a check, and that not all, I now charge $20 check processing fee. BTW. you need to be member now to be an aff. The bronze package is $25/year.

If that's the case then they should be shut down immediately for being unethical and for moving the goal post.

Unfortunately it happens that's why it pays to follow the track record of these types of new affiliate programs with particular interest in regards to affiliate feedback before ever making the leap.
