How Do You Make Money Online Today?

Hey Worriors,

I wonder what method of Internet marketing makes you the most money today?

For example, is it AdSense, Blogging, CPA marketing, PPC+ClickBank, Membership Sites, etc.?

It would be great if you could share some of your secrets and tell your success stories.

It's a bit of a general question, though there sure are tons of ways to go out there aren't there?

Personally I've done a bit of everything throughout the years. I've done real well these past months with offline marketing. It is a refreshing change to see how less the competition is. Ranking for local search terms is not hard at all if you have a few basic strategies under your belt

You're mixing online business models with online business traffic generation tactics.

Model is how you transact to earn income.

A traffic tactic is how you get someone to your offer so that you can transact to earn income.

This mixup is one of the leading ways people are getting confused and suffer from info-overload.

CPA ( variation of affiliate model )


Traffic tactics...

You did not mention the affiliate model which more people are using it for success than any other model.


I love the affiliate model and the cpa model.

I've checked a few of those.. Adsense, membership sites, blogging, SEO, products..

The one that make the least amount for me is Adsense (used to be good, really good but they are paying out less and less each year), membership sites have brought in a good amount for me in the past, blogging makes an 'ok' amount but by far SEO and products are the real winners for me.

I'm not sure what you mean by SEO and products. Both of those work fine with blogging, and even with membership sites. So what is it that didn't work with membership/blogging but does work with SEO and products?

Well, in my experience the AdSense revenue depends on the niche that you are in.

I have several AdSense websites. For example, my "music lyrics" niche site yields only about $0.10 per click, while my "make money online" nich site earns me about $0.60 per click.

So, I think it's important to find out how much are you going to make with an AdSense site before building it and how are you going to generate traffic to it.

Doing a bit of SEO on my own sites really pays off in the long run, I will also occasionally allow companies to hire me as an SEO consultant - which is a nice earner (I do this for fun and to help keep me on my toes more than anything else though). Making products in various niches also brings home the bacon for me.

Speaking in a strictly personal capacity, blogging and membership sites are alright if you have the time to do it, however I don't really need to spend that much time on those business models anymore, I stick with the things I enjoy doing, each to their own.

There's hundreds of ways of making money online and I truly think that we find the best result from working on the the models that we enjoy best.

I completely agree.. according to the Adwords keyword tool one of my niches was paying out over $5 per click.. how much of that was actually passed onto Adsense customers, I guess, was a very different amount.

Althought things started out great with Adsense maybe I was one of the unlucky ones.

About 50% of my income is from Internet Marketing products for other Internet Marketers, the remainder is in a heap of niches with our own products and being affiliates for others.
