ok guys quick question here....and SORRY for asking a bunch of noob questions. hopefully when i get experienced i will have the oppurtunity to give back to the community ( i hate people who constantly suck value giving nothing in return ) ok, so i plan to setup my own site within the next week. my main asset ( i believe) is that i am super knowledagble about the issues. ( ive been in the community for about 4 years) and i think i could blog about something of value every single day, allowing my base a reason to checkout my site as well as driving new people. so the deal is if i want to add new content should i just put a blog on my site and do it daily or should i just write new article( on my site as part of the homepage ) each day without a blog? will the daily blog entries get me higher PR, should i also submit my blog entries as articles to article directories? can i submit my blog entries as articles at article directories (for PR and more traffic) even though they are right there on my blog? and lastly, if i submit ten articles to several hundred article directories with backlinks does that mean that i must have those articles on my site? or is a backlink just writing an article with a link that says checkout my site? once again im sorry to ask these questions ime jsut overwhelmed and the search function seems to lead me through an endless parade |

Try this process. 1) Write an article 2) Submit the article to the directories of your choosing 3) Turn the article into a short blog post and at the end of your post link back to one of the directories. 4) Turn your article into a video (powerpoint + voice over = video) 5) Submit your videos to multiple video directories (be sure to put a link back to your site whenever you can) 6) Create a "Videos" page on your blog and link back to each of your videos 7) Turn the original article into a press release 8) Submit the press release to PR submission services 9) Submit as many permalinks (individual links for blog posts attained by clicking on the title of your blog post then copy the URL in the browser bar) as possible to sites like Digg.com, Delicious.com, StumbleUpon, Propeller, etc... 10) Repeat this everyday Try this, it should help! |

Definitely do both. I don't think it's really necessary to put fresh content out every single day, though. Any other opinions? From what I've read (much of it right here on the WF) and from a lot of teleseminars and webinars that I have attended lately, I really get the impression that posting fresh content 3 or 4 times per week will be just as effective. |
