A few more details would help us help you. Describe in as much detail WHAT you are trying to achieve and let us tell you HOW me might suggest doing it.

If so, then you need the following things. 1) A domain name 2) A hosting account 3) An FTP client (FileZilla is free) 4) Log into your FTP client with the hosting account username for that domain and simply find the file you want to upload in the left box, right click and click upload. Make sure that your desired destination folder is selected. If you would like, I could make a screenrecording for you of this process, just let me know. |

A thought... if you want to upload your PDF so others can simply get it then consider using posterous.com Register for a free account then email the pdf to their "upload" email address: post@posterous.com and presto! Your PDF will be available (and hosted by posterous) for all the world to see. And if you've joined the dots properly, you could even have a link sent to Twitter, Facebook and your blog too. It's all in the Posterous.com setup info. Have fun. |

If your domain has hosting with cPanel, to FTP your PDF to your web page first: Name your web page for your PDF to be accessed from, e.g. index.html in your WYSIWYG html editor, this will end up being your primary domain name once uploaded. For example if your primary domain name is www.myexamplesite.com, then your index.html site where you create your download page for your PDF, once FTP'ed to the web will then be www.myexamplesite.com. Compress your PDF as a zip file, you can do this by right mouse clicking on the actual PDF file and selecting to compress as a zip folder from the drop down menu. You can rename it if you want to, in this case we'll call it my_product.zip, save it in a location easy to find, like your desktop. Embed your link in your web page, this is the link that your customers can access your zipped PDF from, you can do this by naming your download link: my_product.zip. Highlight your download link named my_product.zip then click the link button in your html editor and enter: http://www.myexamplesite.com/my_product.zip, remember the index.html web page you're currently working with will become www.myexamplesite.com once uploaded to the web. This gives the full address of the site that your customers can access your PDF from. Go to cPanel in your back office: File Manager -> Upload -> Browse (Upload the site first, so first find index.html) ->Open (should take 3 seconds to upload) Then upload your compressed PDF file: Click Browse then find my_product.zip ->Open You're done. Test it out by opening http://www.myexamplesite.com (your site's name) and finding the download link within the web page, click on it and a download window for your compressed PDF should open. You can also check by entering the whole link: http://www.myexamplesite.com/my_product.zip, that too should prompt a download. Download, open your file and your PDF should be there. You're done. I know it seems like a lot of steps, it used to do my head in at first, but it gets easier. Good luck. |

There are so many answers to this question, it is hard to say. Unless you tell us where you want to upload it to, and what the purpose of uploading it there is, the answer can vary greatly. I could upload a pdf file to this post if I wanted it to show in my post for others to download for free. if I am trying to sell it, then that is a whole different answer. So I suggest that you give us a little more information so we can help you. |

So many answers , so let me add another one.. Right Click on the file, click "archive as .zip , and upload to your website using cpanel or FTP. If you prefer, you can also upload to your email and send it as attachment (provided its not a huge file) |
