Lost ClickBank Checks Not Being Replaced?

Hi guys,

The BANK lost one of my checks (Over $700 worth!). ClickBank promised to replace the check for a small fee, which I certainly agreed to. But my check isn't here yet. This happened at the beginning of this year. I've sent countless reminders and they've ALL been ignored. Has this ever happened to you? If not, then BEWARE!

Man, CB is getting the living sh*t kicked outta of it today here at WF. Sounds like sticking with other affiliate programs was a solid choice....

Im going to go check my stats again,the last time i looked i had over 112 just for the MOMU.
No sales.
What if all the WF members boycotted and just didnt promote anything for 30 days,after telling CB we where going to do it.Think they might take notice.

I think affiliate marketers ought to take a stand. We are making ClickBank AND their vendors a fortune. They have no right to ignore us. It's like hitting the hand that feeds you!

Hi Anthony,

Not sure if this applies to your situation, but the replacement cheques only get sent out in the next cycle - they're not sent out straight away.

Like I said, not sure if this applies in your situation, though!

This was April 2009, it is now December 2009 tomorrow. Go figure! I spoke to someone yesterday. They're having a similar problem. I figure this is how ClickBank make most of their money... on un-cashed checks!

I don’t care for alot of Clickbank’s practices. It seems as though they do whatever they can to hold on to as much of your money as possible. They aren’t clear with some of their policies and don’t even bother to tell you about others. It’s like they make up the rules as they go along for their own benefit. I use them as minimally as possible and only for one or two products that I sell.

Just to present the other side for balance. I've been using Clickbank for a little over 4 years, and I've never had a late check or direct deposit. I would agree that they could use a few more people to answer their emails, but I've never had a major problem with them.

Sounds like your bank should take some blame on this one as well.

Well, then I need to be beware of ClickBank! I have not yet started using it but if checks don't get replaced, that is crazy!

Been with CB for a few years and had no issues here. To me a lot of stuff said here that is untrue about CB. They a good affiliate company that pay so if you don't like them go somewhere else

Sure mate, that's until the day it happens to you. I've been with ClickBank since 2000 (that's almost 10 years).

I dont want to say anthing bad about clickbank as I am a vendor with several products but in all honestly I have be suspicious of too many things. But again, I think for now I will burry my head in the sand.

Maybe you need to get a bit more angry when you write to them. It may get their attention. who knows.

Whats so painful is that $700 is a lot in Tanzania.

I am from the Third World and know that $700 can take you very, very far.

A hair cut in my city is $1.00.

You might want to call them....and get that upped to a supervisory level asap and find out what happened. Don't talk to the first person on the phone, go much higher.

Hi, $700 in Tanzania is nothing. Tanzania is far more expensive than Europe and America (which is what pisses me off about it), but then again, it also depends on ones lifestyle. If you live in a house with a large lush garden and 5 servants (like I do), and buy groceries from the supermarket, then wow... your overheads can get out of control in no time at all (lol).
