My name is aymond and I am a new internet affiliate marketer. I have just been introduced to amazon and clickbank as a partner / affiliate. I have generated my links and my sites have been set up but I have not started making any money yet. I would like to know how can I start making money and how soon can I start earning?

Welcome to the forum. I have to say, you are in the very early stages of your business by the sounds of it, so don't be disappointed if the sales don't start rolling in immediately. Try just to keep focused on building targeted traffic to your websites via article marketing, forum participation and blog comenting etc. Use seo strategies on your websites by optimising your keywords to get ranked better and link to your site using web 2.0 such as hub pages, weebly, squidoo, quizzila.

Honestly, there is so much to promoting and your question is a bit vague. The main thing is to get traffic to your site both organically from search engines and from other relevant sites.

Welcome to the forum. Assuming that you have a well designed site that is keyword- and content-rich, you need to begin to generate traffic to your site in order to generate sales. And getting traffic is no guarantee of sales, either - what are your offering on your site? Good info that draws people in? You can give away a free report in order to start building a list. And then treat the list like gold.

There really isn't just one answer here. It's good that you've taken action, but making money online is not plug-and-play.

Everything you need to know is on this forum. I recommend taking a full day exploring the forum (and know that in one day you'll just be scratching the surface of what's here) - so you can generate some ideas. See what others are doing. Discover what the issues are. Read about the problems people are having, the questions they're asking, and the possible solutions that have been offered to them.

Set some goals, develop an organized approach to achieving your goals, and implement your plan step by step.

Hey,to be honest,all of us want to gain a lot from the internet since we have started our
business.But don't be that patient.Make sure you are doing the right things and soon you will benefit from it.Since you have used these two ads way to promote your business,I think you should also pay more atttention to the updation and optimization of your website.They are the guarantee of your traffic from those old visitors.SEO also plays a part.It can help you save a some money if you do well in it.In a word,come on and do not give up.

I am also new to this forum, but not to internet marketing. I think if you have some money to test with then I would recommend the content network on Google. You will get cheaper clicks that the search network.

This way, you can get immediate traffic to your sites so you can test to see what works best without blowing a bunch of dough.

Also, try Yahoo and Bing. They are cheaper than google when is comes to search traffic.

Hi my name is Dennis and I am in a similar position to aymond. Jut to let him know he is not alone at this early stage and I wish him success with is sites. I would also like to thank you for your advice which I hope will help me keep my feet on the ground. I was having alook around as you have suggested and that is how I came across this post. Wow there realy is alot of info here, just a case of taking some notes, formulating a plan and moving ahead. Thanks once again, as I was told a few weeks ago on a different form, we help ourselves by helping others. One day I hope to be able to do just that.

having looked at your sites it seems that you are using a cms programme to generate the sites and content.
What is your end game? By this I mean what is your long term stratergy. Do you just want to sell affiliate products, produce adsense income or eventually create your own products. Whatever it is your primary goal should be to build a list of subcribers. This will generate you income for the long term. Building a list of subcribers in any Niche is paramount. The industry standard is $1 per month per subcriber in income. Therefore if you have a list of 1000 people you should make approximatley $1000 per month from that list. But beware you must treat your list well or they will just unsubcribe.
Building a list is staright forward if you know what you are doing.
What you need to do is offer a FREE product. this could be an e book some articles or a video. It doesnt have to be war and peace but it should have a reasonable percieved value as giving away junk just will not work anymore. There are lots of places you can get Private Label Rights (PLR) that you can give away. Once they are on your list you can then start to build a relationship with them and then offer them Affiliate products that will earn you a commission.
My reccomendations are:-
1) Find some good PLR products relevant to your Niche
2) get an Autoresponder account such as Aweber, Wizard Response(Cheap) or getresponse.
3) Place an opt in box on your site
4) You then have to create 2 more pages on your site.
5) Confiramtion page (there are standard ones in the autoresponder accounts) and a thankyou page where they can download their free product.
6) Set up follow up e mails in your autoresponder account. these will be sent out automatically to your subscribers on any schedule you wish.
7) In your e mail follow ups try to give good advice and dont over sell as again they will just unsubscribe.

Obviuosly this is very brief and you will need to do more resaerch but if you start building a list then you will make money.
