Hi guys.
I'm what you would probably consider a newbie! I need advice with my first proper project! I have found a small niche within a niche. On Micro Niche Finder (MNF) I have found a keyword for this niche that looks very very good! Over 18k local search count, and over 29k global search count, with practically no competition, green light given by MNF!!!! My idea now is as follows: 1/ To begin with, create a blog. 2/ Write around 20 to 30 articles with the keyword. 3/ Put half the articles on the blog (with a few affiliate links), submit the other half to article directories (EZA, etc etc) 4/ create a link wheel around the blog in time. I also want to capture the emails of people via a squeeze page. But how would you do this? That is, would you send the traffic to a squeeze page from the EZA link (where they have to give their name and email) before entering the blog??? Or is there another way??? I would really appreciate your advice! Thanks |

I also wanted to buy the domain name of the keyword, but it was for sale at $2,000!
So I bought the domain with a - in the middle, as my-website.com (instead of mywebsite.com) |

Your initial plan is a good start. Just one thing though... Be aware that the numbers those keyword tools give are not always accurate. Many times I have seen a page rank high for a selected keyword that was "supposed" to get a lot of traffic. But in reality, the traffic just was not there.
That being said, your plan is a good start. I'd probably not force an opt-in direct from your articles' bio. Instead, send them to more high quality content on your blog and have the opt-in there. |

Sounds like a great plan! If you really want to get people to optin, I'd suggest creating some sort of free report, that you link to both on your blog as well as your ezine article.
This way rather then forcing them to optin to get to your blog, you are giving them a stronger reason to give up their email. Matt |

Overall, sounds very promising to me.
![]() How well you do will depend primarily, I think, on how well the articles serve their purpose. And on the products' sales pages, of course. Quote:
If I were doing it for myself, I would put all the articles on my own property first, then submit them all to EZA, then submit them all to 5 or 6 other "top" article directories. For sure. I would try to do that with the front page of the blog, by offering a real incentive for their email address, but not in such a way that they have to opt in to access the site. I wouldn't want to lose the possibility of eventually making sales to people who just don't like opting in.

When you get the traffic, make sure you get as high opt-in rate as possible. When you have a big enough list of people, you can probably make most of the money only from the list. It really depends in what niche you are, but I believe there are some buyers as you have already made the research.
I wish you to succeed. |

keyword research can be tricky, Competition usually centers on links but when you search for your keyword make sure you are not searching in "broad" You may get a larger keyword traffic estimate than you think.

Then once they have all had their time and fallen off front page, you can submit the articles anywhere and everywhere you like.

well,it seems good. But never be too optimistic.Sometimes, the figure may be not that accurate. So you need to make you distinctive and put more emphasis on your advantage although now there's no competitor.Further plan should also be considered.

The plan sounds like a great start.
Always be aware that sometimes there is no competition for a reson .. that it isn't a market that works. On the other hand you may have found something cool. The most important thing .. especially if you are new if to get started if you don't try you will never know. If it doesn't work that at least you will have gained invaluable experience and next time things should be a lot easier. I really hope it is a great niche you have found good luck |

Hi tyson, check the intitle, inurl and inanchor for you keywords, to reconfirm the SOC is really that low.
sometimes, mnf gives me an soc of less than 10 with 10k search. BUT the intitle and inanchor could be sky high! Usually its the low count of inurl that is reducing the score of SOC. probably you will want to double check that |
