Default Social Marker, or OnlyWire-Who Likes Them?

I am looking at Social Marker and Onlywire. I am trying to determine which is better? I just submitted a site to SocialMarker I think? I went to the site and filled out the form on the top right and hit submit. Not much happened and I didn't get any confirmation or anything. Did I do it right? Here are a few other questions:
1. Would it work to exchange sites with 5-10 people and submit them
to social marker or onlywire? Would this be too spammy?
2. How many sites does social marker send to on average?
3. How many sites can you setup with onlywire?

Hopefully this will be helpful to everyone!!

Thanks,

Jayson

Well, I use Onlywire, and so far I've been pretty pleased. It took me about an hour to set up all the necessary accounts (that includes email validation, etc.). As for how many sites you can hit with Onlywire, I believe it's in the neighborhood of 30-40. I don't specifically pay attention when bookmarking :P. Finally, yeah, I suppose you could do the whole exchange site thing to avoid the impression of spam, but I currently don't bother.

Soon I'm going to outsource all this social bookmarking and not worry about it.

So with SocialMarker, do you just fill out bookmark details and hit submit, then your done?

With OnlyWire I have a toolbar downloaded into FF, so I simply bring up the URL I want to bookmark, and click the toolbar. Then I'm done, unless I need to do further validation. If that is the case, then I receive an email from OnlyWire telling me so, and then I just have to click the validate links on OnlyWire's back end office. Pretty quick and painless.

How many accounts do you have setup? Also, what success rate do you have for posting?

I have one account for each bookmarking site that OnlyWire supports. As I said, initial set up only took me about an hour. This was without any form filling software such as RoboForm.

My success rate is 90-95%.

See the little tab at the top right of the screen, under your Log In ID? It's called 'Search'. And for a damn good reason. So please, for the love of God, do us all a favor and use it.

Honestly, just pay for RoboForm and manually bookmark.

You're right SocialMarker is now junk (except for using the selection function, i.e. select the "Best," "Do Follow," etc.) and as for OnlyWire, it's good and I still use it every once in a while when I'm really lazy but you won't get all your bookmarks completed (especially for some of the best sites) because they can instantly recognize the auto-submit from Onlywire. Just get RoboForm, sign up to all the sites and manually bookmark say 4-5 a day everyday, looks more natural to the SEs and it's nice to get the new links every couple of days.
