Man, it'll take a lot of Junior Mints to recoup that investment.

Somebody must have a sweet tooth...

Actually, that article is a pretty good read. A great study on what it takes to be successful. Kudos to him.

Hi LMC,

I didn't realize they received that much funding. The article I read (and later linked to) only mention an amount in the neighborhood of 800,000 but after doing some basic research I see what you're talking about.

I wish I had registered more domain names way back when...

I just got an offer earlier this week for one of my domain names. $300. I think someone offered me $25 or so a couple years ago for the same domain. So, it was an improvement over that, but still...

Strangely enough I remember a while back there was a domain I wanted to buy a .com and it was what was called a special domain where they wanted $3600 I declined it and the next day a friend bought it ha ha

I bet he's smiling. Makes us want to hold onto those little sites, build them up even more and then flip them for much bigger profits later down the road.

3.2 million, a nice chunk of change there.
