Default Aweber sms questions

Does aweber offer a service whereby s small business owner can blast out sms (text messages) to subscribers, instead of/along with email marketing?

Does it cost money per text or is there a free service out there to send out hundreds of thousands of text messages?

The Internet is endless...
Life is not.
Enjoy it and have fun!

Now this post is music to my ears, I have been using sms marketing now for over 9 years and generally I have been doing it simply by everytime I get a lead with a mobile or cell number I put it into a group on either my N95 Or Blackberry and then blast the group once or twice weekly

1. Please don't say "blast" when referring to anything you would do with AWeber.

2. We do not offer SMS marketing services. There are firms out there that do
this specifically. I believe one such service was started by Joel Comm (I don't
recall the name off the top of my head) but there are undoubtedly others as
well. Google 'em

3. I will not go so far as to say that we'll never offer such a service, but I will
say that I don't see it happening in the near future.

I am not a lawyer, but would a SMS somehow violate the "Do Not Call" law if the customer did not opt-in to receive the text messages? Not trying to stir up any trouble, but if I understand the do not call law, the fines are very severe.

I'm pretty sure it would be an opt-in type thing...
