Warriors,
I have been trying out IM for about six months now so I would say I'm still seriously wet behind the ears. I have not really made any sales but I'm still going at it for many hours a day. I have become more confident with keyword research and can write articles and do all the usual stuff. I'm slow, but much faster than I was four months ago. I used to get headaches from information overload but now I have learned to take in only the information I need right now. So, it seems that I'm slowly but surely improving, but...... I am starting to feel overloaded with the promotional side of things. I'm still not sure if what I am doing is good enough. This basically what I do.......... 1. Write and publish my webpage, (usually from Squidoo). 2. Write a main article for EZine Articles. 3. Do a very basic, nothing special, re-write on the article and send it off to other article submission sites like GoArticles and Article Base. 4. Ping 5. Send to the main social bookmarking sites. I really do not enjoy promotion but I know it comes with the job and so I must find a way to make it easier on myself. My main hate is article submission. It takes so long!!! Is it really necessary to submit to so many article sites? Isn't there a simpler way of doing this? I choose my keywords carefully and because of this I usually get indexed in Google fairly quick most of the time having my stuff in 1st and 2nd Google page somewhere. Then they don't move. I have read that if you want to move up to the top of page 1 with your stuff you must keep promoting as your webpage will not climb on its own. Does that mean I have to keep submitting spun articles to these slow article submission sites?! In percentage wise how important is promotion? Ahhh!!! Andy |

There are several great software programs that you can use to submit your articles automatically to hundreds of article directories.

SubmitYourArticle.com is a tool used by many marketers. It is very time consuming to submit articles manually.
Make a daily schedule of marketing things, no point in trying to do everything at once.Personally, I write a new blog post every day, do some forum marketing and some blog commenting. This takes me 2-3 hours per day. |

Hi, you need to go out and look for the article submission software that is available. There are many programs available. I recently saw an offer from a Warrior Member. Check out Bobby Walker and Adeel Chowdry...I think they have a pretty good program.

Mass Article Creator / Submitter is the software mentioned by Tom. I use it and it makes things much simpler.

Yes, I agree with using and article submitter. Bobby Walker and Adeel Chowdry are good resources for that type of program.
Also, have you tried the 30 Day Challenge, because that free training goes into a lot of detail on getting your articles submitted and using traffic bug, which will do it automatically. Hope that helps, Kevin |

Don't overwhelm yourself with EVERYTHING!!!!
I write about 3to 4 articles a week and I pretty much follow the same procedure of getting it to the first page of google within a matter of MINUTES!!! And that is.... 1) Put it on your blog 2) Post it to hubpages.com 3) Build a Squidoo lens 4) Post it to Ezinearticle.com 5) Make a video letting your viewers know that you just posted a new article on your blog and blast it out using tubemogul.com 6) Onlywire.com it 7) Ping.fm it 8) Post it in a about 3 forums (ONLY IF IT's VALUABLE INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP OTHER PEOPLE and only after making sure that the forums are DOFOLLOW forums for your backlinks) 9) Turn it into an audio version on Utterli.com and blogtalkradio.com 10) Ping EVERYTHING above at pingoat.com (and pingomatic.com as a backup) 11) And if you have time to post them to other places.. feel free... it wont hurt! Wash, Rinse and Repeat! I get a ton of traffic doing this! And I do this for EVERY SINGLE article that I write. And once its done... I'm off to something else or to spend time with my family. Hope this helps! |

interviews are a good way to promote yourself or your products.
and theres a lot of networking and credibility benefits from them. i did an interview with an expert in my niche then wrote a press release to promote it. it went down really well with other sites linking to mine. at the time it didnt make many sales but i know better now, thanks to this forum. so next time ill be using clear calls to action in my interviews and the benefits of the product up front. |
