I have read the pros and cons of getting a .mobi domain name (the cons seem to be winning) but for some reason, I really like the idea.
So I registered a wonderful .mobi domain name this morning and am now trying to figure out what to do with it. Or should I say 'how' to do something with it. I checked out mobisitegalore.com - it looks quite promising. However, I'd rather have control of my site rather than building something on a free site, no matter how good it looks. I'd love to use Wordpress, but I can't find any good .mobi wordpress themes. I know the theme has to be pretty basic, and mostly I want to enter text rather than graphics. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good (paid or free) .mobi wordpress themes? |

Thanks Alxstatic: I appreciate the lead. However, the problem with these sites is that they deal with the .mobi market and don't seem to be the right size for a proper .mobi site.
I need a wordpress template that will pass this type of test: mobiReady - dotMobi compliance & mobileOK checker Either that or I will just go with mobisitegalore.com It looks like a good site but it there doesn't seem to be much activity there since 2008. Perhaps people just aren't in to designing sites for mobile devices yet. eBay is configured for mobile phones. I'm trying to figure out how they did their site. http://m.ebay.com/ Here's the link on eBay that shows all the features of the mobile website: http://pages.ebay.com/mobile/mobileweb.html If eBay can do this, I want to do it too!
