Paypal Experts! Listen up...

I need your help for a moment.

I am looking at a product that does NOT have recurring billing. Yet they offer a free trial. They offer it through Paypal.

After an hour futzing around on their button creation page I can't get it to work.

They only offer the trial option with recurring billing products and I can't have it recur billing less than 2 times.

Any help?

Digital. Ebooks, videos courses, stuff like that.

Hmm. I'm digging to see what I can find.

How are you offering a trial on an ebook? Seems to me you have it or you don't...just trying to get some idea of what you're trying to do.

What you have discovered is correct...

You cannot offer a trial in Paypal on a one time purchase.

It has to have at least two recurring payments following the trial to do it in paypal.

In our system people who want to do what you are seeking to do do it with a merchant account since paypal does not allow it.
