How to give away a FREE report

I want to give away a free report, that will help anybody who is using Squidoo to promote their websites by showing you the way to insert an auto-responder box onto their lens, without the use of the image cheat, that has been used over the last couple of years, since Squidoo decided to remove the use of their iframes facility. he link to the FREE REPORT is in my sig.

I would like to know is there a forum for giveaways!

Give it away as a WSO, I've given away a report recently it's had about 1000 downloads I doubt it would have had anything like that if i'd added to the ebook forum

Well, I downloaded the report and lost all my interest in reading it just by looking at the no. of times you've pushed the readers to visit your site.

Tone it down a little. I don't mind a link or two to your site and I would probably have clicked through if I found your report to be of value.

But a big ice skating pic on every page is way too much.

Simply tell people it's FREE, advertise it on many avenues, and provide the download links and it's benefits.

Put the information in your signature line, as well.

Even if you offer it as a freebie and that thread disappears (as threads do, during the normal course of the day), you will still generate some interest due to having it in your signature.

Join forums related to the topic in your free report and make sure they allow sig links. Then participate. Block out maybe 2 hours per day to visit each of the forums you sign up to and engage in the discussions. You'll build a rep if you're helpful, and that will get your sig links clicked more often.
