Domain Name Flipping....?

I am fascinated by domain name flipping...(oh its the little things in life that bring pleasure

Anyway can anyone suggest some good resources to learn more and is it to late to get in the game?

Look around for Gene Pimentel's stuff, he's the big name around here for that.

One of THE best places to learn everything you need to know about Domain Flipping is NamePros - Buy, Sell, Discover Domain Names. Yeah, I'm biased because I've been a volunteer Team Leader there for years, but it is the primary resource that has helped me build my domain flipping business to what it is today.

I'm not too convinced on domain-flipping as a reliable business model. Although building a site onto those domians, then flipping them is well worth it.

Shhhhh... don't let the guys at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. and dnjournal.com hear you... they're making millions with domain flipping and have been for years. And please don't tell the folks over at NamePros.com who have been making full time incomes with domain names. Wouldn't want to burst their bubble!

Personally, I don't understand how it works, but I see it working very well indeed for a lot of people. And having been a software developer for many years, I know that there's a lot of money to be made in things that other people don't understand... if you understand them.

But for someone who wants to find names and flip them and make a little side income...how hard would it be to get in the name game?

Especially when I question why names like aaaaaaaaaa.com are valuable (just cus they have lots of A's)

BTW dnjornal.com was parked.

I put a name up at Sedo. However, they wanted me to park some of my other names there in order to verify them so I put them up at NameCheap instead.

If you look at domain flipping like selling "virtual real estate" then you can certainly see that it is a valid business model.

I admit I don't understand all that goes into it, but I know a lot of very wealthy people in this world are real estate investors.

And, now, virtual real estate investors (like my man Gene)

Not hard at all, but like any other real business, you must do your due diligence. Domaining is one of the most rewarding businesses you can partake in if you're willing to learn the ropes.
