Hi guys, Sorry if this has already been covered. I am at a point where I am kicking my business up to the next level. I used to have a business in the UK (ecommerce) and used Protx and a LloydsTSB merchant account to accept and process payments. (Along with Paypal) I now live in New Zealand and want to start looking at not just using Paypal to process my transactions. The problem is my location.. Could I sign up with say Authorize.net and use a LOCAL merchant account with a local bank in NZ to connect with their payment gateway? (i.e. do they connect with international merchant numbers) Also, what does everyone recommend specifically for IM related transactions? (With the nature of what we do and the patterns of transactions etc I want a company who understands this) Again, sorry if this has been covered before but I am at the point where I need to think about accepting more than Paypal. I have not had issues with Paypal lately but sure know from experience with my last company, when your income starts getting bigger you dont want to rely on just them to process your payments! Thanks alot in advance everyone. |
