List of 1120 Article Directories (EZA Alternatives)

Believe it or not, EZA isn't the only article directory out there that can give you high search engine rankings for the article itself and a high PR backlink back to your site.

Wow that is quite a list - thanks for sharing!!

In your opinion, do you think it is worthwhile to submit to the more obscure directories? Or do you think it is best to stick with the more mainstream, established ones?

I've seen that articlebase gets alot of articles indexed on the front page. I was doing research yesterday and saw many articlebase articles come up on the first page. Sometimes even two of them on the same page.

Articlesbase is one of my top 5 directories for submitting articles first - after your own site of course

I use most of the ones on this list (even the obscure ones) I use article marketing as a way to get easy backlinks back to my sites. I want my website to achieve high rankings, not just an article I wrote.

Sweet, you also have what kind of directory they are, for instance, "general" or "real estate". I use Big Mike's Icansoft Article Bot, but I feel bad about sending niche directories articles that don't fit with them. Now I have a resource to check the directories in the software and filter out the niche ones.

I also have ArticleBot and I feel the same way... it sometimes feels like spamming even though I tried to weed those directories out.

This might be a stupid question, but how does one submit their article to 1100+ article sites in a timely manner? I have UAW and have plenty of unique versions to submit of each article, but what do you all do if you wanted to utilize hundreds of article sites?

My problem with articlebase is that it loses rankings prtty quick and doesn't respond pretty well to backlinking. Regarding this extensive list, I will use some of them off course.

I've gone through that Directory Critic list. The problem is it is outdated, a lot of these sites are no longer article directories.

You can submit your own directory there. I guess a lot of these directories were submitted by users anyway.
