Default Question for Mac Users

Do you use iwork?

If so would you see value in a package of 100 Pages templates based on magazine styles?

Yes, and no. But I'm probably not your target audience because I don't use Pages for layout and I don't generally use templates anyway.

What about keynote? Some additional templates in there would be nice.

Pages is great for whipping up pdfs.

I don't use Keynote that often. Usually just for viewing PowerPoint presentations.

So far I use Keynote exclusively. Would love to see a package of good new Keynote themes.

But some good Pages templates might get me to use Pages. I learned RapidWeaver before Pages came out, so it didn't seem worth the trouble to learn Pages.

James those are existing Apple Pages templates that have been modified

These are new and unique. They are also all based on magazine styles so they are specific to that style.

I see you have a demand for a more newsletter style. I will see what we can do

Yes there are not enough templates for pages available in the marketplace. I tried to do some myself and even had a graphic student do some for me too, but none (including your samples Brad) are as good as the designs Pages includes.

I would love more variety of Pages templates, but they need to be as good as the ones already included.

Iwork is a sort of modified mac version of microsoft office. It contains 3 different applications.

Pages lets you create documents, resumes, reports, ebooks, etc. You can easily save in a few different formats.

Keynote does your picture slideshows that you can turn into videos and these can be imported into things like screenflow.

Numbers will let you create charts and graphs, and has spreadsheet options.

Brad,
Yes the small amount of ones included are professional .. Not all of them are but some.. I could create ones myself but no way do I have the time to be creating templates for pages.

You get something let me know ..

That is stunning, where you would you pick up these types of templates from?

If there isn't a huge selection available, could you possibly outsource the creation of your own perhaps?

That's my modified version of the original that comes with pages... As I said I could create my own, not a problem.. But time wise, would not really have the time to do it and run as many websites and services as I do ..lol

I pay close attention to details, including the label on there...

Shows you how much I know! I thought Pages was for creating web pages. I use Adobe InDesign for page layout and PDFs, but good templates for Pages would give me another option.

Brad,

I could use some well designed pages templates but I'd pass on the ones you've previewed.

Like James, I currently used modified versions of the included templates but would like to have more customized templates.
