Hi,
I created a rental site with Wordpress and it is beginning to rank high in Google. I have a question today about how to build local links for my site. The content will be created by me, but the header will feature the company name. With this model, because it is designed to allow new companies to be swapped in and out easily, how are folks generating local backlinks? To put it another way, it seems to me that most of the local link building techniques I've read so far have to do with tying the business owner to the site. Whether they are customer reviews or links from neighboring businesses. So, if I did this, then when the site changes hands at some point, everything is in the name of the previous owner. Then I would be burdened with tons of backlinks pointing to the domain if my customer decided to stop renting. Also, I would need to generate new backlinks for the new renter. I'm sort of challenged by this one. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
