Default With the dollar devaluing, are you investing in assets that increase in value?

Hi Warriors,

With the dollar decreasing in value, what types of assets are you investing your money in to protect against inflation?

I got interested in investing in silver bars. Is anyone here buying silver bars, and is it a lucrative investment?

What other assets are always increasing in value and good to invest in, aside from real estate and precious metals?

Thanks and looking for your valuable feedback,
Michael

I've moved all of my liquid funds out of US dollars and converted them to helium. It's always going up.

I think Gold, Real Estate and Apple stocks are all good investments.

I am investing all my money into old english shillings. I see them making a comeback.

Since Nov.08 election, I've been buying gold and silver exchange traded funds instead of holding physical metals.

My thought is that of the *&$# ever hits the fan, canned goods are what's going to be valuable.

Anyone knows good affiliate programs that sells its products in euros?

Silver has definitely gone up in the last couple of years, and it's growth rate has even exceeded Gold's.

The only thing is demand for silver is linked to demand in the manufacturing industry, and silver is considered a commodity first, money second. Otherwise, it's a very good investment.

I prefer coins to bars as coins are more liquid and easier to sell. Plus, many can be used as legal tender.

I've bought some gold. Next on my list would be silver.

LOL yeah, once the civil unrest in the US really starts, that will be a GREAT investment.

Oil is a good investment with a deflating dollar. Barrels of crude are priced in American dollars so when the dollar goes down, foreign currency naturally buys more. You can invest in exploration companies, drilling companies, etc.

Now is a good time to be selling oil futures as it's, once again, become a hedge against the USD.

I've been selling all week. The oil bubble is going to pop again before the end of the year.

The Hong Kong dollar is completely tied to the US dollar. People are worried about inflation down the line and are putting money into property.

Most expensive apartment-Hong Kong flat sets world record

A world record was set here where an appartment sold for the equivalent of more than US$10,000 per usable floor space. Just imagine that US$1M will only buy you a toilet or a small room!

In fact, we are now very scared that a mother of all bubbles is building up. It is very likely that Hong Kong is now the most expensive city in the world again.
