I started up a blog about a month ago, and slowly but surely I've been adding more content, and trying to work on building traffic, so as I logged in to delete a spam comment, I noticed I had my first subscriber to my list. I'm so happy because this shows I'm on the way to making this work. Plus the only reason I added in an opt-in option to build a list is because I heard so much about the importance of it from you guys. So THANKYOU!!!!!! |

good job. but usually people will start off with an opt in page and drive traffic to it to start building a list. a blog usually takes awhile. but your blog is already there. keep it up. |

It's a great feeling isn't it? I remember hitting 100 and 1000, too. Provide them with good content and make sure you don't keep a list of freeloaders |

Also, keep in mind that when you send e-mails to your list, they have to open that e-mail AND click the link in the e-mail AND be persuaded by the site that link brought them to. So make sure you're as creative, genuine, and personal with your list as possible. Make yourself stand out, make your subs look forward to your e-mails! ![]() - Tommy | |

My plan at the moment, is to continue to write good content for my blog. (It's not hard at all, I wrote a new 450 word article in 20 minutes on the train to work this morning) This in turn will make my blog gain more traffic which will lead to more subscribers which will increase the size of my list. I will then provide the people in my list with an email or two a week, letting them know about new updates on my blog, and giving them some value with things like a recipe or two a week. Eventually I'll release a free mini e-book and then another larger ebook/or video, or a package with both. |

Hi Krisskrash! It's nearly a shock (but a very pleasant one!) to discover that some real person has found your blog and enjoyed your content enough to want more, isn't it! Keep on providing great content and you will build up a list of loyal subscribers - they'll be just waiting for you to promote a good quality product to them ![]() Elaine |

Well done mate... for someone with only 8 posts ( ? pretty new) that's a wicked start to an online career. It took me over 2 years to get off my ass and build a list.

Keep up the good work Kriss. Just keep adding quality content to your blog and I am sure that you will not have any problems with getting more subscribers to your list. You might want to comment on other blogs within your industry to get some more readers to your website
