How should I spend $1000 on IM to drive traffic to a landing page?

Looking for the most efficient way to quickly get a bit of local quality traffic to my website:

a) I got no social media presence which means advertising on FB / IG is not the way to go.
b) quick results are key which means SEO is not an option

This brand's target market is 70% women ( models, dancers, actresses ) between 18-25 and 30% men ages 21-32 ( creative types, entrepreneurs, artists ). Geographically they all have to live in a particular city ( major city in US ).

Google adwords seems expensive. Working with micro-influencers might take too long. Looking for a way to start advertising in a day or two. Seems like our customers are all on Instagram but it would take too long to build presence on IG or FB to use that landing page to drive traffic to our website. Thoughts?

Do you have Existing consumer intelligence?

If so, you can set up an FB ad campaign

With enough experimentation, you can reduce your per link click cost

Don't stop there though, you still need to optimize your landing page's conversion %

I think it's important to remember that with internet marketing, testing and optimising are key. I appreciate you're looking to drive traffic quickly to your website but you could end up losing your budget if things are rushed.

I would personally look to create Facebook ads and target people within your chosen area, and, again, test and optimise. This may seem long but may be the most effective way to spend your budget and actually may end up being the quickest route to drive quality traffic.

    Hope this helps

I'm offering the type of service that would not be of value to potential customers if I was just starting out. It has to look like I've served at least few hundred clients already. FB ads require a FB page. Creating presence on FB quickly is tricky. I could buy some likes via fivrr and then buy FB ads but probably a bad idea.

    vidf,

If by "most efficient" you mean targeted traffic that converts, paid search is the best option (Google or Microsoft PPC).

It's not going to be the cheapest traffic initially, but with the right approach (proper keyword selection, good campaign management, and a good converting sales process), you can get good quality local traffic (and if you compare it to other paid traffic of poor quality, it's not so expensive after all).

If not in such a rush, free Google My Business and Bing Local listings can also drive targeted local traffic, and are good first steps to driving SEO traffic.

Social media can work too, and at least with FB ads you don't need a social media "presence" other than an FB page for the business (also free to set up).

It's easy to set up a FB page but hard to make it look like it's happening. Potential customers in this niche won't do business with a rookie. That's the problem with FB. I could buy a few thousand likes before running the campaign but not sure if going down that road will backfire.

In my experience, Google Ads produces the best results for this type of campaign. Somebody on Google is ready to take action and are actively searching for a solution to their problem. In regards to expense, I guess you get what you pay for!

With that said, if you do FB ads, the best ROI will be with retargeting campaigns and lead ads.

Hey. Like you said it will take time to build a presence on IG or FB. Actually, anything will take time but IG/FB will comparatively take less time if you are doing paid ads. You can create a facebook and Instagram business page and can promote both through Facebook ads. And trust me this is the cheapest way to gain some social media presence. SEO will take much time and SEM are very costly and not everlasting.

I think the best place for you to start is PINTEREST.

Especially with your audience being 70% Women. Pinterest is very under utilized and you can get some really cheap quality clicks with pinterest Ads as the competition is not as high as facebook of Google ads etc.

Without social media or SEO you've knocked out huge sources of traffic, both paid and free. You're looking for cheap sources of a large volume of traffic without being willing to use either of those avenues. You've also laid out your target demographic as being the demographic which are HUGE users of social media. I think you should consider Instagram. Building a following for more long-term traffic, but you could also find affiliates for short-term traffic. And as yesacpow already suggested, Pinterest. Which is a great suggestion considering it is mostly women who utilize Pinterest.

    Use IG or FB.

When someone clicks an ad on these platforms they don't care about your social media presence.

The FB or IG account is just a vessel to carry your ads.

If your product or service fits the need, few are going to say: "This product looks amazing, but I'm not going to buy it because the company doesn't have an established social media presence.."

Most click the ad and never really look at your profile.

Unless the company has zero physical presence as well and zero web presence.

    That can be concerning.

But otherwise, if the service itself is a must have and profitable to sell with a bit of advertising, don't overthink how they'll react to the company's overall social presence.

Not entirely true. Large, established brands such as Nike, Apple, ect. I wouldn't be worried about a lack of a social media presence because they are already WELL known household names. But if you are selling a product and are relatively unknown, social media, such as Instagram is one of the first places I would go to see any information, advertisements, reviews ect. about the product.

      This.

Really surprised that some people believe that without a social presence, no one will click on your ads.

I find FB to be the most quick & efficient way to drive targeted leads and conversions to your business. After that it really depends on the quality of your product/service.

You mentioned you should buy some likes to get the page on it's feet. Why not run a couple of engagement campaigns (that will cost you less than $50). With that, you can get a lot of likes to start your page and these will be targeted to your business.

Once you do that, go with conversions campaigns after getting an audience to target. FB offers a great way to find details about your potential customers or competitors.

If you're in the internet marketing niche I would buy solo ads. You're guaranteed a certain number of clicks (unlike Google Ads and FB ads) plus conversions are really good if you know what you're doing.

    Good afternoon,

It looks like you are eliminating all your options here:

    1. You don't have no FB/IG presence...which you should.
    2. You don't want to invest in paid advertising.
    3. You don't want to take the time to work with Influencers.
    4. You are wrong about taking too long to use IG to build presence for landing page to bring
you traffic. You can use software automation for that.

ADVICE: You need to do a serious and realistic analysis how you going to be successful and what sacrifices you are going to have to make.

    Hey man,

    What about building your webinar.

    Ads --> Webinar ---> Followup

If you haven't done much in this niche, it's quite tricky, but for the money, webinar are the greatest way to have an impact. That being said, it's quite a budget

With 1.000$, you'll get barely enough leads in the webinar to have some data.

Maybe a lead magnet with an offer to book a call in the magnet and as well as right after the optin.

Basically, you can bypass social media presence with that stuff. Might be worth a try. But 1.000$ wont get you far.

You don't need a social presence to advertise on FB / IG.

If you want a social presence, a fast and easy way is to buy an IG account with a lot of followers in your niche.

And considering that you said all your customers are on IG, you might want to invest into buying an established IG account right off the bat. And using it as your own.

Other than that, one of the fastest ways is to get a good piece of content written for publishing in local publications in the city your targeting!

    It's free.

    It's fast.

And lets you piggyback onto an existing audience base.

And also builds some of your authority at the same time.

Your niche seems perfect for social media sites like Instagram and Pinterest. There are several courses on how to generate traffic from them. Find a good course and go from there.
