Domain Word or Plural Word

I found some good keywords on Google, for searches of the form 'twoword' at 19000 and 'twowords' at 4000 per month. So 'twoword' is the best term, but they are all taken, while 'twowords.org' is available. I would want to rank for 'twoword' but I know that Google pays attention to the singular or plural form in the URL so I wonder if I should take a change with the plural form.
