New business model, new income

Most of my 25 sites produce little or no income. Most of what I earn comes from just two sites.

I looked over the other 23 sites trying to think of ways to change the business model and improve income. I thought that working with what I had was smarter than investing in a new site.

I focused on a debt lead site that I owned for 8 years. It had a PR3 and still produced leads via a toll free#, although they were few and far between. I knew that due to the extreme competition to SEO that niche, home page listings/links should be in high demand.

I thought of replacing the site with a bid directory but was warry because so many bid directories are simply thrown-up on expired domains and interlinked with the owners other bid directories- a sure way of getting tossed from SE's in time.

This debt site did not link to any of my other sites and I figured if I could retain the text content of the original site (including all page url's), I do not see why this site should be penialized.

Happy to report that the new site design/function has started to attract paid submissions and my phone leads from the site are actually increasing!
