Wanted web programmer/designer

Could someone please recommend a reliable programmer/designer for the creation of a marketing site for my CPA prospects. If your reading this post and feel you have the skills and experience, please PM me with examples and costs.

I believe a programmer and designer are two different things or at least I treat them that way.

A programmer codes the code on scripts and interactivity on my websites and a designer is dealing with the HTML on the page, the arrangement and the graphics.

Why do you need a programmer?

I would probably post somewhere else for a programmer because if anyone has any recommendations, they'll probably keep it to themselves.

Know what I mean?

There is a huge difference in a designer / programmer / website developer ...

There is also a for hire section here on the forum ...

Well, technically speaking, a 'Web Developer' IS a web-based designer/programmer...and yeh, they are hard to come by, especially if they excel in both.

I do know a very good designer/programmer and I am one myself but I just don't have the time recently to take on any large projects.

I can forward them to you no problem. They're quite cheap too. Start with something smaller at first, sure you'll see the quality of their work.

Yep hard to get that across to some people sometimes.. I been a website developer for over 15 years.. I do not take on clients any longer though, why I suggest the OP go look in the for hire section..

along with the fact that what he's looking for is incompletely specified.

Now, details, like niche and things, I don't expect.

But I expect clients to be able to explain in a little bit better detail what they want or need.

Clients who don't know how to ask for what they are need with more specificity are sweet meat to scammers.

Be somewhat knowledgeable, and you'll get good, reliable, vendors.
