Is Clickbank still a viable option for product launches?

Hi

I have never used Clickbank, although I've had an account with them since 2004. I was wondering whether Clickbank is still a viable option for launching an info product. I usually just use PayPal. I'd like to use an affiliate network because I do not have list or jv contacts within this particular niche to partner with.

I have a World of Warcraft guide I'd like to sell, so wanted the best opportunity to generate sales and revenue for affiliates within that massively multi player online roll playing gaming (MMORPG) niche.

If Clickbank is no longer a viable option, could you suggest alternatives & pros/cons of same?

Also if it is viable, is there an inexpensive download/member site script that would work hand in hand with Clickbank?

ofcourse clickbank is a viable option dude!...

Your turning down an army of affiliates you will pay ONLY for performance selling...

now if you mean it as in a big massive launch...still yes but i'd recommend some jv partners perhaps to create a real buzz ad really rock your niche!

Oh ad regarding the script..am not really sure, I'd have presumed its all done within their platform anyway...so doubt you would really need one..?

Ok thanks for your responses. So you think for success in that niche, where I said I have no JV contacts or a list, that Clickbank is the best way to go?

By all means launch your product using Clickbank.

Make sure you have a great affiliate page to attract potential partners, with things like banners, emails, links etc.

New products show up quickly in various clickbank related services like cbengine.com which spread the news about your offer. When your products climbs in ranking it attracts more partners.
