Google Analytics and Wordpress

I just had google analytics plugin installed on my word press blog. The blog url is an extension of my domain eg www.mydomain.com/blog

I already have analytics on the main domain www.mydomain.com

So ...

1. Will I be able to track both data sets accurately without messing ech other up?

2. When I get the code from google to paste into the WP plugin - is it as a "new domain" or "existing domain"
