Need advice from my fellow warriors

I have a squeeze/optin page thats not converting as it should be.

It´s getting some traffic mainly from PPC.

So I was wandering if you people who know your stuff when it comes to lead capturing could offer me some of your visdom.

Any help in making the site better would be very thankful.

Ah, I don't have to even click on the link. Writing 90 articles in three days is a COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE claim, even if you somehow manage to do it. I've been writing for almost 30 years and I can turn out five or six good articles in a day, tops.

Under the title insert a table witn 2 columns using your html editor and put the video on the left colimn and the optin form on the right.

Currently you dont have the optin form above the fold and you're losing for sure some of the visitors.

Also test what's the conversion rate without asking for the name, just the email address.

In my tests just this little change bumped my conv. rate by 5%.

give more attention to your opt in box...

personalise it a little, show a picture of yourself...bring life to it..right now it looks too basic and simple..which can be good...but needs a slight bit of life..a header, a image of maybe writing..something in terms of what you are trying to do

also another great way to boost opt ins (which is tested by top marketers by the way) is to have an arrow pointing at the action steps so they submit their details

You have no proof.......words are just words.
You also have no SEO if you are trying for organic traffic.
You mention slapping a child........probably not a good idea

Well I took a look.

I do not pretend to be an expert on this topic
but I wanted to offer some possible advice based just on visual
impact and the old school Cory Rudl advice I think could be used here
along with other warrior input - so here goes:

1. The headline is not specific enough -it does not spell out in a few
seconds why I should watch your video and there is no clear benefit
that appeals to me - perhaps something like
"Finally a solution to end article writing in three powerful
moneymaking secrets you can apply instantly to any business"
still that might not be specific enough based on your market -

2.Perhaps the opt in should come FIRST before the video and make the video
part of the "freebie advice" so it gets the opt in first BEFORE you deliver
content - ya it works well doing it this way.

3. Studies have shown simply using ONLY an opt in email
can increase signups without needing to gather an opt in's name.
You can always get the name later after you use your
auto responder series and gather more info.

Remember to over deliver the content and even a freebie
that entices the opt in to further build a good relationship
that you can later capitalize on

Just my 2 cents but it works for me well

Are you doing any Split Testing with this landing page in Google Website Optimizer or some similar software?

That would be Step #1...without some data, you can't really know what changes are helping/hurting the conversion rate...

Do you already have this in place?

You have misspelled the word "carpal" in the headline. Just saying.

(I'm afraid I agree with all the people above who find the "claim" implausible, and I think this greatly detracts from the site's credibility. Sorry.)

Hi Terro,

Just some suggestions:

1) You can try adding more 'emotion-triggering' benefits as to why users would want to watch your video or read your article. Tell them the benefits of being able to write 90 articles in 3 days. Tell them the benefits ->increased site traffic, increased SERPS, increased exposure, etc etc.

2) If possible, you should add social proof. THAT will surely increase your conversion provided you are bringing in targeted visitors.

PS: I do not think the page is too bland. Simple pages are great, they cut the distraction away from the user. However, I also believe you should emphasise more on your opt in box.

first the offer just doesnt seem appealing especially to a crowd that is from experience lazy and not willing to work for things.

7 minutes is a little long for an optin page video. 1 -2 minutes is really pushing it with the short attention span we have today.

the italics make the text a little hard to read

there is no real privacy policy or terms of service.

instead of saying 90 articles in 3 days you, since you say it takes 5 minutes to write an article you could say how to write 90 articles in 7.5 hours
