I have not paid a lot of attention to my IM stuff recently as I have been dealing with job stress, looking for another job, and all of that hassle.

But, I'm happy to report that my Clickbank account rolled over $100 here recently and I should get my first check! At least, I think $100 is the magic number.... =)

Anyways, it caused me to go back and look at a few of my stats on my articles. I have one article in particular that I'm pleased with clickthroughs (although I need to beef up my presell page and get people to buy the product more).

383 views, 173 clickthroughs since 10/12 via EZA. Nearly 50% clickthrough!

So now that I know I can get the articles done the right way, time to tone up the rest of the process.

This marks my first $100 month in IM. Next goal is the $100 week.

Congrats man. I am happy for you, I remember when my first check was sent about 4 months back ( still have got check though ) I was so happy and definitely know how you feel.

It is good to know you are monitoring your stats, it is the ultimate thing to do. Article marketing works but it only works if you are monitoring and trying to improve on your stats.

And ... don't forget the web 2.0 sites too.

I have made $89 this month alone with a blogger blog that I did nothing more than writing a product review and adding about 15 Angela and 20 Paul links to.

I have some Hub Pages related around the products I'm promoting and they pull decent traffic for never being promoted. Over the last 30 days the 2 hubs I am tracking via analytics received 1,000 hits...on top of my articles.

I need to add a few things to the hubs, but I'm going to take that one articles and promote it a bit as well as make my presell page even better.

50% clickthough -- nice! Did you have any sort of method in writing your articles or just kinda winged it? I'm about to get started in article marketing so any advice would be great.

There is no feeling like seeing sales in your Clickbank account. Especially when you were not looking for it. Good job!! Take a quarter of that and celebrate and invest the rest in duplicating your efforts so you can get to those $100 dollar weeks down to $100 dollar days. Good luck!

Isn't the minimum payment requirement $10, not $100? I'm assuming you didn't get your first check, because you haven't met the CDR. You need five sales made from separate credit cards (PayPal doesn't count).

But congratulations, regardless! Hopefully, that was at least your fifth sale!

Basic SEO for the article. Kept my keyword density at 2 percent plus used a title that would attract attention.

Keep it going. I still have my first check from a couple of years ago photcopied and in a special file.

Keep it up. It gets even nicer when you wake up each morning and you check out how much money you have made while you where sleeping and then you see the direct deposits going into your bank account on a regular basis. Hmm, this IM business is sweet...
