How do I enable subscribe by email RSS in Wordpress?

I set up my first Wordpress site, I don't know that I have ever worked so hard & screwed so much up in my life. This forum really was a huge help.

Nonetheless, it's finally done! I have a theme with a subscribe by email RSS in the upper corner & I'd like to use it. Tried to signup with my own email, but it told me subscribe by email not enabled?? How could I do this?

You need to set up your RSS feed with Feedburner. In Feedburner, activate the email option.

Then their should be a spot in your theme to enter your Feedburner ID to make it all 'click'.
