When did you guys start outsourcing?

Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering when did you start outsourcing work? I've just started internet marketing and haven't accomplished much, but I'm starting to really get sick of mindless backlinking.

I plan to make a detailed backlinking system for me to test out once, and when I finish with that, I think I'm going to start outsourcing out those tedious tasks.

A lot of guides out there really encourage outsourcing and I agree with them. It kind of makes you the employer whereas doing those mindless tasks make you feel like the employee x)

So, how far along were you in your IM career when you started outsourcing? I'm curious

If someone else has more knowledge about a thing, then the right thing is to outsource it.For me, I run several blogs in different niches and I often outsource the article writing.I have been outsourcing some of my article writing since 2008.

    From the beginning. LOL.

I suck so much at the start on bringing in traffic, designing and programming that I neeed to hire someone else to do it.

    I've always outsourced.

I don't see the point in doing it all myself - If I'm working a setting up a blog, then I will outsource content and backlinking.

That way, as I'm working, other tasks are being completed also, it speeds things up which makes you more productive!

Haha yeah, outsourcing just seems like it would make so many things so much easier.

Did you guys ever have problems finding a trustworthy outsourcer?

I have a great connection for you if you're serious about this. Chey has worked for me for a long time and she's fantastic. About $85/week full time.

I love outsourcing for a few reasons:

    1) sometimes when I need to do something, for whatever reason it just doesn't get done!

    2) when you are paying for a service, you make darn sure it is worthwhile. I find that I am able to measure the outsourcing and tell if it is worth the $$$ or not in the returns it brings

    3) the sky is the limit, you can accomplish so much more when you outsource!

I believe what you say! I mean all of this mindless backlink building is not very productive at all and I'm pretty short on time because I'm in high school.

And thank you for mentioning how outsourcing is measurable. When we do most tasks ourselves we can't really measure if the time is worth our money, but with outsourcing, you can.

I've only been in IM for 2 months and don't have too many projects yet. So I wouldn't know. However, I do forsee the benefits of outsourcing.

Do it now. As inexpensive as it is to get quality people on the job, there is no reason to do everything yourself.

David, thank you for the encouragement. I feel like outsourcing will be very rewarding but I just feel it's too early to get to this step. Maybe it's just stupid to wait when I already know the benefit?

JonMills, I'm curious. What had you accomplished that made you feel you were ready for outsourcing? Or was it just that you didn't know about it or realize its benefits till then?

    I outsource along the way:

If I need everything done, i pay for it, especially EN written fresh content.

But, even when i wanted a serious outsource identical to my needs (like 2 hours per day/2 days per week) I never had good experiences, just guys lazier then me.

But right now I need someone to create all accounts on PostBot, so anyone wanna join in?

That sucks you haven't found a reliable outsourcer. I'm sure there are plenty out there. You just need to look harder.

However, I can't really say that as I have no experience with outsourcing. I plan to though soon! Now back to school work. =(
