Can you earn a living writing press releases?

I know press releases are a great for seo and just marketing in general.

I know someone that is out of work right now, has a traditional marketing/graphics/writing background and someone who would be terrific at writing press releases.

My question is: what is a ballpark figure for writing a good press release - and getting it distributed properly - for a small business?

It's rather hard to give you an average ballpark figure because that figure can range so much based on the writer. Usually though most PR specialists don't just write press releases alone, but instead are engaged in a whole variety of PR actives.

Absolutely

I run the PR for a range of clients and am also involved in several larger PR campaigns. It's SO much more than writing a few Press Releases- and she needs to get someexpereince under her belt
