Hi,

I just found this out when I went to GoDaddy to register a domain.

You can register a domain for $1.99. Here are the exact words about the offer from GoDaddy itself:

Register or transfer any available .COM, .US, .MOBI, .BIZ, .NET, .ORG, .CA, .CO.UK and .IN domain for just $1.99!*
Applies to the first year only of new or transfer registrations. This offer may not be used for renewals, bulk registrations, premium domains, auction domains, or Sunrise/Landrush domain registrations. Limited to one order per customer, expiring after 7,500 redemptions or on November 9, 2009 (whichever comes first). Discount will be reflected in your shopping cart; cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Customers may not use gift cards or PayPal® to redeem this offer.
* Plus ICANN fee of 18 cents per domain year for .COM, .MOBI, .BIZ, .NET, and .ORG registrations.

I'm registering a domain now and my friends said it worked for them.

Its a shame this does not work with renewals as I have alot of domains coming for renewal, all the same a great offer and thanks for sharing

You can use this for only one domain. It is one order per customer.

Yes, it works. It will be gone once 7500 domains are registered or on Nov 9th which ever comes first.

By the way, Is it possible to transfer to Namecheap after signing up as I'm using Namecheap.

It will be better to manage them all together.

Yes, you can take advantage of these discounts by having multiple accounts, however, on discounts like this, they usually don't accept any Paypal payments.
