Hi Warriors, I have created a squeeze page but I have no idea how to track it's conversion rate. Google Analytics only shows the no. of unique visitors and no. of visits and such. So how do you track conversion? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks! Cheers~ Mark |

Is your squeeze page used to get people to sign up for a newsletter or something? If it is then you just track how many impressions you have versus how many sign ups. If you are just forwarding them to a sales page then just switch the number of sales with sign ups. I use google analytics to track visitors and aweber statistics for my newsletter sign ups. |

I also use google analytics to keep full track of all the traffic and where it comes from then when I combine that with my get response stats I can tell you the percentage of traffic that opts in and from that when I look at level of sales I then have that conversion also

There are a lot of ways. For one, if you use Aweber it's built in. You can set goals in Google Analytics, you can use Google website optimizer, or you can buy any of dozens of conversion tracking scripts on the market. (Which I think is the best bet, I don't want Google having access to my conversion data.) -Scott |

Hey Mark, You'll need to set up what are called "goals" within Google Analytics in order to be able to track the actual conversion rate of your squeeze page. By setting up goals, you will also be able to see exactly which traffic sources are converting to subscribers. The following links will teach you how to set up goals within Google Analytics: Goals in Google Analytics Identifying and Setting up Goals in Google Analytics: Google Analytics Power User Part 7 - VKI Studios Blog Analytics Talk Blog Archive All About Google Analytics Goals Advanced Google Analytics: Conversion Goals (Part One) [WorkHappy.net] Google Analytics Tutorial 4: Working With Goals | Internet Marketing Strategy: Conversation Marketing The first link is a video tutorial that will walk you through the entire process of setting up goals within Google Analytics. And the rest of the links will gain an even deeper understanding of the process. Hope this helps! - Kim |

Google's "Goals" are great, and will definitely work for you, however stats are delayed For a real-time tracking solution, I use Hypertracker since they allow you to pixel the thank you page and get an accurate count of which traffic did what. Jonathan |

I use Google's analytics on both the sales pages and the download page. Separate accounts for each page though as this will show you exactly how many people arrive at page A and go through to page B using the same tracking system. Just my 2c |

If you would like to increase your visitor to lead conversion rate you should not only track your conversions by adding a pixel to your thank you page but you should create at least two different versions of your squeeze page (starting with different headlines) and split test them. In order to do that (split testing) you should Google for a "split tester" and get a special software that will automatically display different versions of your squeeze page for your visitors by dividing them into equal streams and track conversions. Note that all IM gurus are split testing their sqeeze and sales pages! Why? Because it is proven that changing only a headline of a landing or sales page can boost your conversions 100%+! If you are not split testing you are probably leaving lots of money on the table, especially if you are sending lots of traffic to your landing or sales pages. Hopefully, this will help any newbie - don't bother with traffic increase to your website until your landing or sales pages are not split tested! Gerardas |

| (The number of subscribers)/ (The number of visitors) X 100 = Conversion Rate This is very very basic and you might want to consider other tips given by fellow WARRIORS |
