My mom loves to write, and write and write. She's actually planning to write a book. The problem is that she has severe arthritis in her hands, so it makes it difficult for her to keep pace with her thoughts. I was thinking that a great gift might be a hand-held recorder where she could record her thoughts in realtime and then connect to a pc where the audio file could be transcribed into word or some other document format.
I know such a thing exists, I'm just wondering if anyone here has experience with this kind of device and what comes highly recommended. Any suggestions? Thanks. Mike |

Hi,
I think that Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 it's a good one. You should try it. Hugo |

Thanks Hugo. Lol, I'm actually in Ottawa as well. Is it available at future shop? Doesn't dragon require a digital voice recorder if you want to use it the way I mentioned?
