Default RockStar Secrets to Life Niche & Salespage advice?

Hey fellow warriors, up until now I have been contributing more than asking since it seems most of the answers are already here on the forum. But I really would love some advice on my new venture.

I just launched my new Micro Continuity weekly Video Coaching program called "The RockStar Secrets to Life!" Where every week I will be guiding people on a journey to changing their lives & creating true happiness or what ever it is they would like to achieve in life. It is basically what I teach my current clients through life coaching. I am making this change because I see the power in the web and would like to spend as much time as possible with my wife & 3 little ones without all the traveling to events and speaking engagements.

So I would love some feedback on my new site. Also I keep hearing about making sure you have a micro niche etc. I have a hard time with this since I have so much I want top teach my clients. I dont want to just teach how to reduce stress or how to have more self esteem. I want to (scratch that) it is my mission to teach the world how to be a RockStar in their life and to make the world their stage! I guess you call that a hook or angle? But that is my mission.

So if you can I would love some feedback on it. Also I launched it to my current list of 500 subscribers (I havent emailed them often) and got 45 people who opted in to get the next video and out of that I had 3 sales. I also sent it to my twitter list and facebook etc. Thanks again fellow warriors and I will be offering a huge discount to warriors here next week.

Hey man I just checked out both pages.

From an objective standpoint, it is pretty good.

I think you should try to clarify "rockstar" on that first page a little more. I feel like I don't really know what I'm getting into by opting-in; therefore, I don't know how badly I really want to opt in...does that make sense? Also, maybe try a more convincing headline on that squeeze page.

For the sales page, I would change the headline to a solid color. I know that one of the best converting typefaces and color combos is Tahoma and Red (#cc9999). Also, be careful of being too gimmicky. People just want the real deal, be persuasive but don't be too "hype-y" haha I'm sorry, I'm not writing very well right now. I think you get my point though.

You did a great job of following Russell Brunson's Micro-C model.

Keep pluggin' away, and try to get some JVs on board with you... check this link out for some possible JV connections. Joint Venture (JV) Lists, Announcements, Blogs, And Community Forums.

Good luck,

Tommy

Nice job getting these pages up there. Some thoughts...

FREE Video Reveals the #1 Secret to Unleash Your Inner RockStar Now!

1. I'd work on the headline a little

2. Move the video up several spaces to that it's one < br >
below the headline so that the video is 'above the fold'.

3. I'm on a Mac, using Safari. I don't know what that
little graphic is on the right side of the video next to
the box about discovering the secret.

4. Checks are too large, possibly text as well and there is
too much space between them. Make checks smaller, text
smaller, and only have one line break in between each one.
The more you make me scroll on a squeeze page decreases
the chance you're going to get my email address.

5. Change, "Do You Want To Know The Secrets To:" to....
"Who Else Wants To Discover The Secrets To..."

6. When I click on the link on the bottom of the page, it
brings me back to the top of the page. Ummm... where
is the opt-in form? Check your site in Safari, something
is not working right there...

Secret Video page | RockStar Secrets To Life

There's a lot to go over here... to sum it up, there is a
lot of white space between paragraphs, images, etc.
There needs to be more of a 'flow' of the salesletter
so when people scroll down their eyes will catch a
subheadline and get them to stop scrolling. Very few
people will sit and read everything word for word.

I'd suggest checking out some salesletters on ClickBank
and modeling some of the ways that they have their
letters set up. Take a look at the top 10 highest gravity
sites about marketing to see how they structure their
sites and add eye candy.

Hope this very, very quick rundown helps!

Awesome and thanks Tommy. In the past I was too real and not gimmicky enough to generate sales on the web. I would sell alot on live calls and live events but not on the web. So I guess I need to find a balance. I just hired Matt Jutras a fellow warrior here to rewrite my sales page. I would really like to get some JV's but working on my JV program now. I just signed up with nanacast which handles it but it wont allow me to offer a monthly commission to JV's which is what I would like to set up.

Tommy I really appreciate you taking the time to give that feedback and will use it. Let me know if I can help you out with anything.

Thanks for all the great feedback Tex and I am taking notes on this too. I agree and will do some tweaking. Its weird that the image above the optin box doesnt show for you? I will have to check that out. This was my first video squeeze page and I did it all on wordpress too. So was a step learning curve but I got it down now. Man I love the WF and all the help you guys are offering. You guys all rock!

Default Re: RockStar Secrets to Life Niche & Salespage advice?

I made some of the changes already. Seems something was up with the tables showing up in safari so I tweaked it and it works now. I am going to have the salespage rewritten this week by Matt Jutras here on WF.

Does anyone think I should narrow down what my niche is? Meaning right now I am going after everything in the self help coaching arena. Should I maybe create separate sales pages for each micro niche. Like improving self confidence, reducing or eliminating stress, wealth mindset, etc?

I do have market samurai and have been learning about keywords, so I understand the importance of this when creating a web presence and increasing sales.

Or should I just keep my main sales page covering everything like it is (but being tweaked by Matt) and just have a bunch of articles and blog posts that target those keywords that have high searches and low comp and point them all to the main salespage?

Any advice?
