A place for download files

how much bandwidth do you need and what's your budget?

I reccomend amazon s3 with the s3fox firefox extension for more large scale and if you want seamless file hosting... and a place like rapidshare if you don't mind sending people to another site to download files...

You could also get a cheap hosting acccount at like godaddy or hostgator to store files as well.. provided you also have a domain to hook up to the account.

Another vote for E-Junkie, excellent service for digital downloads. It's how I run my WSO payments and delivery.

If you're just looking for free file storage online you could ftp the files to your own server or you can use docs.google.com. They've just added an "upload any file" feature. Max 250mb for a single file, max storage of 1gig - that's free, more if you pay. It doesn't have to be google doc compatible you can just shove your files up there.
