EzineArticles and physical product reviews - what is your experience?

Does EzineArticles allow physical product reviews or not?

I've had such articles rejected because "we do not allow promotion in the body of the article" (or something like that), even though the review was pretty objective (pros AND cons)

OTOH I see product reviews on EzineArticles all the time. They even have a category for it!

Is there a trick to getting these approved?

Are you using a redirect? They only allow product reviews when you are sending traffic to a landing page, not direct to the product.

Yes, I was sending them to a landing pages. Either Squidoo landing pages or sites that I own.

Recently Ezine has been crazy with their article submissions. I had the same experience when I do a Free ebook review and they didn't accept it even though I posted it in the Book review category.

Thinking about changing to another article site, wasting my time with Ezine.

I submit product reviews quite often and the only one I ever had rejected was one where I accidentally put a redirect in my resource box rather than one of my websites. If I were you I'd try contacting them - it'll probably take a while for them to get back to you but at least you'll know.

Maybe I'll just try again. Last time I tried was months ago and I was at Basic Plus. I'm platinum now so maybe it will be easier.
