Hi everyone,
I'm quite new here so please forgive me if this question has been asked before (I have searched the forum but couldn't find the answer). I have created a Hubpage with my own original text/article on it. Now I want to publish the same article on the EzineArticles. I have found out on this forum that since I am re-publishing my own original text this should be fine with Ezine and it's not considered as a duplicate content. However I've made the mistake of using a pen username on my Hubpage and this is not the same as the one I've got with EzineArticles, will this be a problem? I can't just change my Ezine or Hubpage name... Is there any other way how Ezine will know that I'm publishing my own original text? I will include the link to my Hubpage in the resources box. I'm sorry if this is all confusing, but I'm quite confused myself at the moment ![]() Any advice will be much appreciated! cheers Katarina |

You can set up alternate author names in ezinearticles. Just go into your account there and click on profile manager - Edit Author Names.

You can set up an alternative pen name in EzineAritcles, however I suggest that you re-write your Hubpage article in order to submit a unique version to Ezine. Just make sure that you are using the same key phrase. It really shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to do this, and you'll get more benefit in the long run.
Also remember to direct links to both the Hubpages and Ezine articles from other articles. Greg (gsport11) |

Thanks everyone for the answers...
Joan - I knwo I can add alternate author name in Ezines, however my Hubpage username is not a real name (i.e. it's 'infohelper', a bit silly, I know now...) and I can't use it for Ezine (according to their terms of service) Greg - if I can't do it another way, I think I will end up rewriting the article as you suggest (even though I wanted to avoid it, as I wanted to use the rewrites for other directories) Mini-site - thanks a lot, I was hoping the link in resource box might be sufficient, but I wasn't sure... How certain are you that this will work? cheers, Katarina |

Cecetka,
If you plan to submit to multiple article directories, you might consider spinning the article re-writes. You can find a free online spinner http://www.spontent.com/spinner/main.html with good instructional videos here: http://www.spontent.com/spinner/help.html#videos The output is a zip file of txt files. Feed the resulting articles (a sample of them) through a test for level of "uniqueness" at dupecop: Duplicate Content Checker | Article Rewrite Comparison | DupeCop Online (I see that they have started charging for dupecop--used to be free.) I wouldn't submit any article that is not at least 35% unique when compared to all others.) If you write two or three rewritten sentences for each sentence in your original, you should get thirty or forty sufficiently unique versions. The coding for the spinning process may seem tricky the first few times you do it, but in the long run it can produce superb results at a considerable time savings. If you need an initial understanding of spinning, I suggest reading this first: - Article Spinning Or, for an overview of article marketing, there are some articles beginning here: - Article Marketing None of the above links are affiliate links. Hope this helps. Greg-gsport11 |
