About Youtube (i have question)

Hi guys! We know that video marketing have huge power nowadays. But i have one question - if i post my website link in my videos description does that help my website get higher in search engines?

Only if you believe that Google will reward outgoing links from a site they already own. That's the answer.

Hello Lett, That a get question I would sure think it would help your ranking but I have not seen it for my home site as of yet, I'm getting this over whelming sence that there is no Gold Bullet for ranking it just takes time and patients but I'm but a very smart guy and I could very well be wrong, If any other reader see this please do correct me I'm a sponge and want to learn all I can

Hi Lett,

There are several ways you can benefit from Video marketing in this regard:

1. If you target your video to the right keywords (Title, Description and Tags) you can have that video rank very well for the term you target.

2. If you structure your video correctly you can drive a lot of traffic to your website.

3. The links are nofollow on YouTube but they are still a backlink. Also, you should be sending your videos to all the major video sites, not just YouTube and that can result in some excellent backlinks for your site.

Video marketing is a very powerful medium and often overlooked by many marketers and can potentially let you dominate the search engines and create a flood of laser targeted traffic.
