I have a bunch of domains that are open and want to buy. but at godaddy, $10 a piece will add up fast. Anywhere else i can buy domains for cheaper??? Also, what is the best way to park a domain? |

I buy domains from namecheap, and then use hostgator for hosting now. Don't park a domain, just put some type of content on it, basic links, related stuff you can sell on clickbank, information on how much the parked domain would cost if you intend to sell it, a link to your blog, anything. I'm not saying parked domains don't make money or anything like that, but the space could be of better use. This is how I think of parked domains, would you buy real-state and set up a lemonade stand if the real estate were in the middle of nowhere? What about next to a huge sky-scraper? The lemonade stand could get a lot of business and earn a nice chunk of change next to a sky-scraper with all of that foot traffic, but what if you own a lemonade smoothie cafe two blocks away. Maybe build another lemonade smoothie cafe, or tell everyone to visit your lemonade smoothie cafe? Does that make sense? |

Well I use enom... you can get reseller accounts for lower than what you pay at godaddy. I have a reseller account, could set you up a sub-reseller account at 8.95 for domains if you want... inconvenience with them is you have to pre-fund your account with a minimum of $100 but if you register domains regularly, it's not really an issue IMO. PM me if you want one but there are other places online that offer some, might be even cheaper than 8.95 too ... dunno

I use Name.com and, every Friday, .coms are $5.99 each. I think .net domains are too. Pete |
